Integration
Integration is the ongoing process of bringing the domains into a more connected understanding of a person’s life. It asks how influences interact, what needs attention, and what kinds of support may fit together over time.
What this domain can include
- Noticing links between different areas of life
- Holding complexity without reducing a person to one cause
- Finding priorities and coordinating appropriate support
- Reviewing what changes, what helps, and what remains difficult
Questions to explore
- Which domains seem most active or most in need of support?
- How might changes in one area affect the others?
- What would a manageable next step look like, and how will it be reviewed?
Integration does not mean that every difficulty can be solved or that all domains must be addressed at once. It is a way to keep the whole person in view while respecting their choices, context, and pace.
